Francis X. Hathaway is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Law, Cum Laude. Mr. Hathaway is admitted to practice in all Michigan Courts, and the United States Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan. Following Law School, Mr. Hathaway developed a busy general practice whose main focus is on business contracts, business formation/dissolution; real property, deeds, land contracts; transactional law, family law, in addition to a wide varied misdemeanor and felony criminal case load. Mr. Hathaway represents both civil and criminal litigants.

As a criminal defense attorney, Mr. Hathaway has taken many serious felony cases, including drug, assault and domestic violence and serious sex offenses. He takes cases to trial, and wins by way of acquittals, settlements, plea agreements, dismissals
or please to lesser-included offenses in many cases. Through elocution Mr. Hathaway has obtained lower
sentences and/or probation for clients convicted of crimes.

In 2001, Mr. Hathaway formed Hathaway Law Center PLC. In 2005, Mr. Hathaway was joined by associate attorney, Kelly M. Fletcher, to provide a wider base of legal services including estate planning, tax matters and bankruptcy, commercial litigation
